The present invention related to a method for controlling a battery charge of a battery-driven robotic transfer vehicle (RTV). The objective of the present invention is to provide a method for controlling a battery charge of a battery-driven RTV, capable of stably supplying power by efficiently realizing the interlocking process between an RTV and a charger in the battery-driven RTV which is applied in a specific site in which a waterproof, a dustproof, or an explosionproof is required. According to the present invention, the interlocking process of automatically charging a battery by moving a battery-driven RTV to a charger includes the steps of: identifying whether a charger origin signal (IN1) is turned on when the RTV arrives at a home location for a charge; turning on an RTV arrival signal (OUT1) when the RTV arrives at the home location; turning on an RTV movement preventing signal (IN3) of the charger side after the RTV arrival signal is turned on; turning on a charger entry allowing signal (OUT3) of the RTV side after the RTV movement preventing signal of the charger side is identified to be turned on; turning off the charger origin signal (IN1) when a cylinder starts moving after the charger entry allowing signal (OUT3) of the RTV side is identified to be turned on; turning on an anti-origin signal (IN2) of the charger side when the operation of the cylinder is finished; and turning off the charger entry allowing signal (OUT3) while a charger movement preventing signal (OUT2) of the RTV side is turned on after the anti-origin signal of the charger side is identified to be turned on. |
