The method involves generating a set of N-bits from a digital signal (Sn), and providing a NR value, where NR is an integer that is lower or equal to a specific volume. A set of clock signals is provided with a binary digit (Sb), where the binary digit is generated by generation of a set of periods. The clock signals are provided for a specific width of N-bits corresponding to a set of clock ticks. The binary digit is allowed to present a cyclic report that is equal to a specific value. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for calibration of a digital-to-analog signal converter (2) a digital-to-analog signal converter.
