The method involves fixing two fasteners (20, 21) and a rod (3) with a toothed segment (9) through a pin (40). One of the fasteners is turned toward a tool (50) provided with a traversing opening (25) through which the tool is engaged with a guide pin (55). The fasteners and the rod are assembled with the segment by pressing using the tool until the guide pin is in support by an upper side (10) of the toothed segment, which is turned toward the tool or when the rod comes in support against the toothed segment. The traversing opening is realized in the fastener at the proximity of the pin.
