PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a water-repellent starch is provided to have a simple manufacturing process, prevent the loss of a reaction product, and prevent the generation of waste water. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a water-repellent starch comprises a step of adding a polyfunctional metal hydroxide powder, and uniformly mix the mixture to form a first mixture; a step of adding one or more anhydride organic acids selected from the compounds represented by chemical formula 2-5 into the first mixture, and uniformly mixing the mixture to form a second mixture; and a step of deriving an esterification of starch in the second mixture, and an anhydride inorganic acid, and a crosslinking reaction between the esterified starch and the polyfunctional metal hydroxide. |
