The present invention relates to a variable boosting system for a solar inverter which includes a grid unit which generates and distributes power from the solar inverter to a consumer. The present invention includes a voltage sensor unit which is connected to the grid unit and senses the voltage of the grid unit and a booster unit which controls the boosting amount of a DC voltage according to the voltage of the grid unit sensed by the voltage sensor unit. The variable boosting system for the solar inverter reduces the power loss of the system by performing a boosting operation only when the voltage of a module unit is lower than the voltage of the grid unit by sensing the voltage of the grid unit in real time.
