The present invention relates to an electric induction to be able to minimize power consumption in the course of cooking. For the electric induction, an induction heating portion is configured to be divided into a circular shape according to the size of the bottom surface of a cooking container in order to selectively move downward. Therefore, the induction heating portion selectively moves upward according to the size of the cooking container and operates in correspondence with the size of the cooking container by configuring the induction heating portion to be divided into the circular shape according to the size of the bottom surface of the cooking container in order to selectively move downward, thereby minimizing power consumption.
