The present invention relates to an apparatus cooling the heat source of a vehicle using an air conditioner, wherein the apparatus efficiently cools the heat source which generates heat at high temperatures, using a refrigerant of the air conditioner. For the above effect, the apparatus cooling the heat source of a vehicle including an inner heat exchanger, the heat source generating heat at high temperatures and having a cooling flow path, and the air conditioner having a compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve, an evaporator, a receiver drier, includes: a bypass valve bypassing the refrigerant at the outlet of an inner heat exchanger before entering the expansion valve; a bypass flow path guiding the refrigerant, which is at the outlet of the inner heat exchanger and is bypassed by the bypass valve, to the cooling flow path of the heat source; a return flow path returning the refrigerant, which passes through the cooling flow path of the heat source, to the outlet of the compressor of the air conditioner; and a forward flow maintaining unit maintaining the forward flow of the refrigerant returned from the cooling flow path of the heat source to the outlet of the compressor, wherein the inner heat exchanger makes heat exchange between the hot refrigerant transferred from the condenser to the evaporator and the cold refrigerant transferred from the evaporator to the compressor. |
