According to an aspect of the present invention, an organic light emitting display device capable of preventing burning of pixels without change of a circuit or addition of a component includes: a detection data generation unit which detects the threshold voltage and mobility of a driving transistor included in each pixel of a display panel at a first point of time and generates detection data; a calculation unit which calculates a first current value flowing in each pixel at the first point of time using the detection data and estimates a third current value at a third point of time which is after the first point of time using a second current value calculated at a second point of time which is before the first point of time; and a control signal generation unit which generates a control signal to control input data for each pixel or to control power to be supplied to the display panel according to the comparison result between the threshold value of one among the first and the third current value and a predefined threshold value.
