The present invention relates to a damping load adjustable mechanical active hinge comprising a moving block engaged with the bottom of a hinge frame of a hood hinge; a mounting base which accepts the moving block to allow the moving block to vertically move and which is engaged with a vehicle body; a striker accepting groove formed on the moving block in a vertical direction; a striker passing through and fixed to the mounting base and accepted in the accepting groove of the moving block; a shock absorbing spring for elastically supporting the moving block towards the top of the mounting base; and a latch structure which is installed on the moving block to be caught in the striker and which loosens itself from the striker when a load at a predetermined level or a higher level is applied to the hood hinge.
