A remaining battery indication method and an apparatus thereof in a mobile terminal indicating the amount of the battery are provided to release a function wasting the current generated when the power is on or apply the measurement voltage value by reading out voltage compensation value according to temperature. A controller(200) comprises a temperature measuring part(202). The controller controls a backlight function of a display part, a backlight function of an input part and a function such as sound effect. A temperature measuring part measures the temperature of the mobile terminal or a battery pack(204). A battery pack performs a function for supplying power source for the operation of the mobile terminal. A display unit(206) displays status information, generated among the operation of mobile terminal.
