The present invention relates to a device for activating a fuel cell stack (10) having an anode (11) and a cathode (12). By means of the device, the hydrogen of a hydrogen tank (30) is applied to the anode (11) so that oxidation is induced and the hydrogen is reduced in the cathode (12) so as to be re-circulated. The hydrogen tank (30) is installed on a circulation path that is formed by means of a first pipe (51) connected with the anode (11) and a second pipe (52) connected with the cathode (12). The device is based on a hydrogen pumping technique when activating the fuel cell stack, and thus the amount of hydrogen consumed is reduced. The device is simplified by excluding expensive evaluation equipment needed for an activation process, so that economic feasibility is improved. |
