The device has a rotary part (10) turning in a housing around a drive axis (12), and rotating around an eccentric axis (13) with respect to the drive axis. An oil ring (6) is formed based on amount of lubrication bath oil such that unbalance function of the amount of oil is generated by an unbalance generating device. The rotary part comprises an internal cavity (11) that is offset with respect to the drive axis and allows a formation of the oil ring when the rotary part is rotated. The rotary part comprises an opening (14) for draining the internal cavity. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for monitoring an amount of lubrication bath oil in a housing (2) a method for monitoring an amount of lubrication bath oil in a housing.
