The present invention provides a video encoding method, an apparatus thereof, a video decoding method and an apparatus thereof for generating a restored image with a minimized difference from an original image. Disclosed in the present invention is the video decoding method which parses the offset aggregation information of the current block from received bitstream, restores offset types and offset values among the offset parameters of the current block based on the offset aggregation information, and adjusts pixel values of a restored pixel by offset by selecting an offset value, from the offset values, corresponding to an edge class or a pixel value band of the restored pixel determined based on an edge type or a pixel value band of the current block represented by the offset type. |
