The present invention relates to an outside handle for a sliding door. More specifically, the outside handle for a sliding door includes: a base which is mounted on the door panel and has a first hole formed on an end; a grip which is mounted on the base to be able to rotate and slide in the horizontal direction and has a first hook formed on the an end to be inserted to the first hole; and a lever which is connected to the first hook of the grip and is placed in the first hole of the base to rotate or slide the grip. The present invention can enhance the operation convenience and assembly of the outside handle opening or closing the door while increasing the merchantability.
