PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition which exhibits shorter gelation time than epoxy resin compositions using a phenylene sulfide skeleton diamine as a hardening agent.SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition comprises: an epoxy resin; and said hardening agent. As the hardening agent, a phenylene oxide skeleton diamine represented by the specified general formula (I) is used.
