METHOD FOR OBTAINING APPLE POLLEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining apple pollen in a short period.SOLUTION: The method comprises a step of inoculating viral RNA concentrated from a proliferated host which has been infected with recombinant apple latent spherical virus (FT-ALSV) expressing Arabidopsis thaliana FT gene, into a cotyledon of an apple seedling just after rooted by a particle gun method. The seedling is made to be bloomed in 1.5-3 months from planting and pollen having a germination property is collected from the flower. Inoculation is performed to a cotyledon of rosaceous fruit tree seedling just after rooted using a particle gun method.
