<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral gasket which achieves good sealability to a gas, etc., with a low fastening surface pressure and achieves high heat resistance.SOLUTION: A tape like hoop material, which has a substantially V shaped cross section and is formed by a metal thin plate, and a filler material made of expanded graphite are overlapped and wound into a spiral shape to form a spiral gasket. A surface layer of the filler material made of the expanded graphite is impregnated with an oil.</p> |
