PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat source unit capable of reducing input to and noise of an air blower by optimizing the relation between the number of installed air blowers, and the diameter of propeller fans and the height of a unit housing.SOLUTION: The inside of an outdoor unit body 1 is partitioned horizontally with a partition plate 3 into one space as a heat exchange chamber 4A in which a heat exchanger and an air blower are disposed and the other space as a machine chamber 4B in which a compressor is disposed, and a plurality of air blowers 6A-6C are arranged side by side in an up-down direction in the heat exchanger chamber. An air blower comprises a fan motor and propeller fans 6FA-6FC fitted on a rotary shaft of the motor fan, and the relationνbetween the number (n) of installed propeller fans, and the height H (mm) of the outdoor unit body and the diameter D (mm) of the propeller fans satisfies an expression (1) ofν=(H-50×(n+1))/D and an expression (2) of n≤ν≤(n+0.5). |
