<p>The present invention relates to a golf tee having functions for setting a destination landing point of a golf ball and for displaying a guideline which is helpful for providing a psychological sense of calm while at address. When a ball is placed on top of the tee, due to the weight of the golf ball triggering a power source, a point light, such as a laser beam or an LED light, shines out from one side of the tee body to the above-ground surface and displays a guideline on the ground in front thereof due to a reflecting unit provided below the top of the tee, thereby allowing, during a golf play, an accurate address, a psychological sense of calm and a progression of a smooth play on the part of a player due to a display of a straight line from the point of the tee shot towards the destination landing point to which the ball travels. Optionally, when the weight of the golf ball disappears from the top of the tee when the golf ball is hit, after a set time has elapsed therefrom, a sound can be made to emanate from the golf tee for a set duration, thereby allowing the worry for losing same to be minimized.</p> |
