PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper for hardly causing a split close to the roots of lower edges in side panels.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 1 comprises: an absorbent main body 2 having an absorbent body 23, skin side sheets 21 arranged on the inner surface side of the absorbent body, and non-skin side sheets 22 arranged on the outer surface side of the absorbent body; and flexible side panels 3 attached to the side parts of the absorbent main body. Fastening tapes 4 are arranged at the distal ends of the side panels 3. Each side panel includes: two sheets 31, 32; elastic members 33 fixed between the sheets; a main body side adhesive layer 35 for fixing the ends of the elastic members 33 on the side of the absorbent main body 2 or a place close to the ends; and a distal end side adhesive layer 36 for fixing the ends of the elastic members 33 on the side of the distal end 3a of the side panel or a place close to the ends. Each side panel 3 includes an upper side joint part 66 that is arranged on an inner surface side and where the sheet 31 is jointed with the skin side sheets 21. The upper side joint part 66 overlaps with the main body side adhesive layer 35 in the thickness direction of the diaper. |
