PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture assist device capable of displaying a candidate area of a plurality of puncture routes for safely puncturing a puncture target and displaying a puncture insertion point candidate area on a body surface image.SOLUTION: A puncture assist device includes: display means; volume data acquisition means for acquiring three-dimensional volume data; puncture target setting means for setting a puncture target in the acquired volume data; puncturable area setting means for setting in the acquired volume data a puncturable area on a body surface image; puncture route extraction means for extracting a puncture route from the puncturable area on the body surface image thus set to the puncture target; degree-of-safety calculation means for calculating a degree of safety of the extracted puncture route; and an insertion point candidate area display control means for setting a candidate area of the puncture insertion point to be punctured in the puncture target on the basis of the calculated degree of safety, and displaying the candidate area on the display means. |
