a waveguide comprising a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the waveguide is proximate a speaker of an electronic device when the electronic device is installed in the protective enclosure, wherein the waveguide increases in cross-sectional area between the first end and the second end, wherein the second end of the waveguide is located proximate a front surface of the protective enclosure, and wherein the waveguide has a length of at least 9.8 cm.
