A mobile communication core system for dispersing transaction load generated in the limit charge of a prepaid subscriber and a method thereof are disclosed. The mobile communication core system according to the present invention comprises a packet data network gateway operated to request the limit inquiry of the prepaid subscriber; and an online charging unit for allocating a limit inquiry reservation time for making a reservation to inquire about the limit of the prepaid subscriber after a limit charging reference time and for reserving the limit inquiry to inquire about the limit of the prepaid subscriber in the limit inquiry reservation time based on the limit inquiry reservation time in response to the limit inquiry request from the packet data network gateway before the limit charging reference time for charging the limit of the prepaid subscriber. |
