PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device in light of switching of opening/closing of a hole for attraction formed in a medium support unit and airtightness in a state in which the hole is closed.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: a plurality of holes 5 formed in a medium support unit 4; attraction means for attracting air via the holes 5; a closing member 13 each movable in a direction Z close to/away from each of the holes 5; urging means 14 for urging the closing member 13 toward each hole 5; and a slide member 8 slidable in a direction X crossing the direction Z in which the closing member 13 moves. The slide member 8 is configured to be able to contact the closing member 13 when sliding. By sliding the sliding member 8, a state in which the closing member 13 closes at least one of the holes 5 (for example, L1) is switched to/from a state in which the closing member 13 opens the hole 5. |
