PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery cell assembly that utilizes frame members having tabs with apertures extending therethrough.SOLUTION: In an exemplary embodiment, the battery cell assembly is provided. The assembly includes a first frame member having a plurality of first tabs extending away from a first peripheral edge. Each tab of the plurality of first tabs has a first coupling portion at a distal end thereof. The assembly includes a second frame member having a plurality of slots extending into a second peripheral edge. The assembly includes a battery cell disposed between the first and the second frame members, where the first coupling portion of each tab of the plurality of first tabs is configured to engage a corresponding slot of the plurality of slots of the second frame member for fixedly holding the first and the second frame members together. |
