PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate burden of a customer using a self-checkout terminal.SOLUTION: A self-checkout terminal comprises: a measurement part for measuring weight of a commodity; an imaging part for taking an image; recognition means for recognizing the commodity from the taken image; extraction means for extracting commodity information for identifying the recognized commodity from a commodity master which stores the commodity information which identifies the commodity, including the weight of the commodity; selection means for selecting the commodity information including the weight having almost the same weight as the measured weight from the extracted commodity information; and registration means for performing sales registration of the commodity identified by the selected commodity information.
