PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory device sharing system that makes possible prevention of load concentration on a specific equipment item while controlling access by different processing devices to a memory device and, even if the managing device runs into trouble, enables the processing devices to appropriately access the memory device.SOLUTION: A memory device sharing system includes M (M is an integer not smaller than 2) access control devices sharing N (N is an integer not smaller than 2) memory devices, and a managing device that controls access of the access control devices to the memory devices. The managing device checks data in the N memory devices, generates data position information indicating the stored positions of data items stored in one or another of the memory devices, and transmits the data position information to each of the access control devices, and each of the access control devices comprises communication means that receives the data position information from the managing device and control means that, when a request for access to data is accepted from an access requesting party, accesses the stored position represented by the data position information.
