PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head and a liquid discharge device capable of reducing time of entire drive signals and thereby realizing high frequency driving while suppressing the influence of residual vibration derived from liquid discharge.SOLUTION: A drive signal contains: a first waveform part (vibration control/expansion part p1) for causing a pressure change in ink in a pressure chamber without discharging the ink from a nozzle; and a second waveform part (contraction part p5) for discharging the ink from the nozzle after causing the pressure change in the ink in the pressure chamber. The first waveform part is generated ahead of the second waveform part (contraction part p5) in the same generation cycle of the drive signal. A drive signal generation circuit changes an intervalΔtx between the first waveform part and the second waveform part on the basis of a timing signal from timing signal generation means. |
