PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyte information acquisition device and method capable of performing information acquisition such as detection of a specific part such as an abnormal part of an analyte at a sufficient sensitivity using a terahertz wave.SOLUTION: The analyte information acquisition device includes a generation section 29, a detection section 17, and a processing section 30. The generation section generates a terahertz wave to be radiated to an analyte in a plurality of states including a state in which a target aimed at a specific part or other than the specific part in the analyte 10 is introduced to the analyte. The detection section detects the terahertz wave propagating from the analyte 10, and outputs a signal. The processing section acquires information of the analyte 10 on the basis of the signal detected by the detection section and data including the information related to a feature part of the wavelength spectrum of the target. |
