A transmission terminal (10) uses a first communication path (60 GHz band) and a second communication path (2.4 or 5 GHz band) to communicate with a reception terminal (30). A first communication path connection detecting unit (17) detects a connection or disconnection of the first communication path between the transmission terminal (10) and the reception terminal (30). A throughput measuring unit (18) measures throughputs of the first and second communication paths. A terminal control unit (20) determines, on the basis of a detection result of the connection or disconnection and the throughputs of the first and second communication paths, whether to change the data transfer communication path. A communication path changing unit (13) changes the data transfer communication path to the first or second communication path. |
