MICROWAVABLE SHEET AND PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING MICROWAVABLE SHEET

The present invention provides: a microwavable sheet (1) in which the penetration of oil to the exterior surface can be inhibited and which exhibits excellent moisture permeability; and a process for manufacturing the microwavable sheet (1). The microwavable sheet (1) is provided with a base paper (2) and a resin layer (3) which is laminated on one surface of the base paper (2) by applying a coating fluid that contains a resin composition, said resin layer (3) having multiple pores (3a). It is preferable that the microwavable sheet (1) exhibits a moisture permeability of 200 to 15000g/m2·24hr. The microwavable sheet (1) may be manufactured by: applying the coating fluid to one surface of the base paper (2) with a roller which has recessed parts on the surface; and thus forming the pores (3a). Alternatively, the microwavable sheet (1) may be manufactured by: applying the coating fluid to one fine rugged surface of the base paper (2); and thus forming the pores (3a).
