<p>Condensation products of melamine and phenylphosphonic acid, a process for their preparation, their compositions with polymeric materials and their use as flame retardants in polymer substrates are provided. The compositions are especially useful for the manufacture of flame retardant compounds based on polyfunctional epoxides or polycondensates, such as polyesters, polyamides and polycarbonates.</p> |
