<p>Provided are a method for determining a node state, and a node.The method includes: a first node detecting whether to communicate with a switch; in the case that it is determined to communicate with the switch, the first node acquiring configuration information; in the case that the configuration information indicates that a main node and a backup node need to be configured, the first node detecting whether to communicate with a second node; in the case that it is determined to communicate with the second node, the first node detecting whether a floating IP address exists on the second node; and in the case that it is determined that no floating IP address exists on the second node, the first node determining to act as the main node or the backup node according to the configuration information, the configuration information also indicating that the first node acts as the main node or the backup node.The embodiments of the present invention have no need for an arbitration node to decide a node state, thereby ensuring the reliability and continuity of a service.</p> |
