An electronic apparatus is disclosed. The electronic apparatus includes a physical button manipulated by a predetermined manipulation; a sensor part for measuring ambient illuminance in the case that the physical button is manipulated when an operation mode of the electronic apparatus is a power saving mode or a power off mode; and a controller for performing an operation corresponding to the predetermined manipulation of the physical button in the case that the ambient illuminance measured by the sensor is greater than or equal to a predetermined illuminance value.
