PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for electromagnet that can suppress vibration at the zero-cross of falling edge of pulse current to be supplied to an electromagnet.SOLUTION: A power supply device 1A for electromagnet has a first current source 2 for supplying first discharge current of a first capacitor 21 to an electromagnet 5 so that pulse current I rises up to the apex thereof and regenerates regenerative current based on inverse electromotive force of the electromagnet 5 in the first capacitor 21 so that the pulse current I falls from the apex, and a second current source 3 for supplying the electromagnet 5 with second discharge current of a second capacitor 31 and third discharge current of a third capacitor 33 having an electrostatic capacitance value larger than that of the second capacitor 31 after the pulse current I rises, whereby the pulse current I is kept at the apex till the time when the pulse current I falls. The regeneration destination of the regenerative current is switched from the first current source 2 to the second current source 3 in the middle of the falling of the pulse current I.
