PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve installation stability of an image forming apparatus including a plurality of paper cassettes, while reducing the installation area for the image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus according to the present invention includes an upper paper cassette 33 accommodated in an upper paper cassette accommodation part 31 arranged above an image recording unit 4, and a lower paper cassette 23 accommodated in a lower paper cassette accommodation part 27 arranged below the image recording unit 4. The upper paper cassette 33 is a large size cassette capable of storing recording paper 32 of the maximum size on which the image recording unit 4 can perform image recording processing, and the lower paper cassette 23 is a smaller size cassette than the upper paper cassette 33. With this configuration, the installation area of the image forming apparatus can be reduced smaller than the area of the outer shape of the upper paper cassette accommodation part 31, and installation stability of the image forming apparatus can be improved while achieving a reduction in the installation area. |
