PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for enhancing the degree of freedom in the arrangement of single cells in a battery pack.SOLUTION: A single cell 2 constituting a battery pack includes external terminals 7A, 7B. An upper cap 21 surrounding an external terminal is attached to the upper end side of the single cell 2, and a lower cap 22 is attached to the lower end side. The single cell is held between an upper holding part 23 and a lower holding part 24 via the upper cap and lower cap. The upper cap is provided with a plurality of bus bar openings for inserting bus bars 8 extending from the external terminals, so as to penetrate in the thickness direction. The external terminals are arranged on an extension in the opening direction of the bus bar opening.
