Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus and a user equipment for feeding back a channel quality instruction, so as to improve accuracy in reflecting a channel quality. The method comprises: based on detection of a pilot sent by a base station, obtaining a first channel quality instruction CQI1; based on a detection result of a demodulated pilot, obtaining a second channel quality instruction CQI2; and in a method that the base station can differentiate the first channel quality instruction CQI1 and/or the second channel quality instruction CQI2, sending the first channel quality instruction CQI1 and/or the second channel quality instruction CQI2 to the base station. The method provided by the embodiments of the present invention objectively reflects a current channel quality condition, enables the base station to obtain accurate channel quality information, and thereby objectively schedules data and improves data sending efficiency of the channel based on the channel quality information.
