METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING DNS RESOLUTION OF DOMAIN NAME GROUP

The present invention provides a method and a system for supporting domain name server (DNS) resolution of a domain name group. The system comprises a registration data storage device, a resolution generation server, and a DNS resolution server. The resolution generation server reads domain name data information of a domain name group from the registration data storage device; determines whether domain names in the domain name group share a DNS or have standardized domain names, configures the domain names or resolves corresponding resolution records, and makes records; and then transmits the acquired resolution records to the DNS resolution server for resolution. In the present invention, several types of resource records (an NS record, a domain name CNAME record, and a domain name DNAME record) of each domain name in a domain name group are added, so that a group resolution method is achieved, flexible configuration can be implemented, and resolution and management of a domain name are facilitated.
