The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a curved display panel by which not only a display panel having a curved shape is capable of being manufactured but also outer side surface corners of a first substrate and a second substrate are prevented from being broken or roughly etched when an etching solution is injected. The curved display panel manufacturing apparatus according to the present invention comprises: an etching unit to cut portions of outer side surfaces such that thicknesses of the first substrate and the second substrate are reduced to a predetermined thickness; and a bending unit to curve a liquid crystal panel having a planar shape, with the portions of the outer side surfaces being cut, into a desired curved shape. Herein, the etching unit comprises at least one corner protection cover which is disposed at the outer side surface corners of the first substrate and the second substrate, and an injection nozzle which injects the etching solution onto the outer side surfaces of the first substrate and the second substrate and the corner protection cover.
