<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tongue of a seatbelt device and the seatbelt device, capable of sliding a clamp member in a predetermined direction when a webbing is subjected to a tensile force toward its tip side in its longitudinal direction.SOLUTION: When a webbing 16 is drawn toward its base end side in its longitudinal direction, a pawl 92 is subjected to a rotation force in a direction in which a pawl side engagement tooth 96 is engaged with a clamper side engagement tooth 98 due to resistance against the webbing 16. In such case, the engagement between the pawl side engagement tooth 96 and the clamper side engagement tooth 98 is maintained and sliding of the clamper 62 in clamp direction is restricted. On the other hand, when the webbing 16 is drawn toward its tip side in its longitudinal direction, the pawl 92 is rotated due to resistance against the webbing 16. Thereby, the pawl side engagement tooth 96 is released from the clamper side engagement tooth 98. In such case, the engagement between the pawl side engagement tooth 96 and the clamper side engagement tooth 98 is cancelled and the clamper 62 is allowed to slide in the clamp direction.</p> |
