The present invention provides an intracellular ATP volume measuring method and measurement kit. The present invention makes it possible to measure the volume of ATP inside the cell without any additional cytolytic process, and has a sensitivity specific to intracellular ATP since there is no interference due to the cell membrane integrity changes and cytolysis products that result from cytolytic processes. The present invention allows real-time measurement of ATP in living cells, and can be used in detailed dynamic analysis of, by way of example, cell survival, growth, death and toxicity.
