<p>Provided is an article of sportswear that makes it easy to connect and separate an upper garment and a lower garment, that prevents wind from intruding via a gap between the upper garment and the lower garment, and that does not create a feeling of discomfort resulting from a fastener. An overlapping section (3) that is provided to one of the hem section (1b) of the upper garment (1) or the waist section (2b) of the lower garment (2) is overlapped with the outer side of the other section, and a fastener (4) that is provided to the overlapping section (3) detachably connects the hem section (1b) of the upper garment (1) and the waist section (2b) of the lower garment (2) so that there is no gap between the hem section (1b) of the upper garment (1) and the waist section (2b) of the lower garment (2). At the same time, the fastener (4) does not come into contact with the skin of the wearer as a result of being arranged between the hem section (1b) of the upper garment (1) and the waist section (2b) of the lower garment (2), one of said sections (1b) and (2b) serving as the overlapping section (3). In addition, it is possible for the wearer to quickly separate the bottom garment (2) from the upper garment (1) without difficulty because separating operation of the fastener (4) is performed from a start section (4a) that is arranged at a location on the overlapping section (3) that corresponds to the front of the wearer.</p> |
