PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems, methods, and apparatus for generating verification data for a wireless transmit-receive unit (WTRU).SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of: obtaining, for each of a plurality of software or hardware components of a WTRU, a measurement result; generating a measurement log (ML) comprising a record of the component measurement values and other component-specific data that is stored on the WTRU; and generating verification data from the measurement values for each component and storing the verification data in one or more of secure registers. The verification data is compared against reference values. The verification data and the ML are organized into a tree structure, roots of the tree structure comprising the verification data and inner nodes of the tree structure are defined, and the measurement values included in the ML define leaves of the tree structure. Validation of the trustworthiness of at least one of the components of the WTRU is enabled via traversal of the tree structure. |
