PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable communication on the occurrence of recovery due to a failure of correctly receiving a primary channel equalizer training signal.SOLUTION: A communication device performing half-duplex communication conforming to Recommendation V.34 includes: recovery shift means for shifting to predetermined recovery processing when the reception of a primary channel equalizer training signal from the opposite device fails; and control means for decreasing a symbol rate in an INFOh sequence when a shift to the recovery processing is performed by the recovery shift means. |
