摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably retain a catalyst temperature in an uppermost stream high temperature shift reactor by at most a heat proof critical temperature to homologize CO concentration variation and flow rate variation in a coal gas.SOLUTION: A CO shift reaction apparatus includes: serially connected two or more shift reactors 5, 7, 9 that include an uppermost stream high temperature shift reactor 5 in which a coal gas mixed with steam inflows; a main gas quantity control valve 18a that adjusts a main gas quantity that inflows into the high temperature shift reactor 5; a bypass line 21 that is bifurcated from an upstream of the main gas quantity control valve, bypasses the high temperature shift reactor 5, and flows the coal gas to a downstream; a bypass gas quantity control valve 18b that adjusts a bypass gas quantity; and two or more temperature sensors 23a-c that are disposed in a catalyst layer of the uppermost stream high temperature shift reactor 5 in a gas flow direction, and a control device 25 controls the main gas quantity control valve 18a and the bypass gas quantity control valve 18b so that the maximum high measurement temperature in the temperature sensors 23a-c may be retained to a preset temperature.
