1. A cutting insert for use on a tool body, the cutting insert comprising:
a first member having a first mating portion, wherein the first mating portion includes a first recess portion formed therein; and a second member formed separate from the first member and coupled to the first member, the second member having a second mating portion in engagement with the first mating portion, wherein the second mating portion includes a second recess portion formed therein that is generally aligned with the first recess portion, wherein one of the first member or the second member comprise a cutting portion adapted to perform cutting operations on a workpiece.
