The present invention relates to a phased array RF coil module and an imaging apparatus using the phased array RF coil module. The phased array RF coil module includes at least one first phased array RF coil part which generates the magnetic field of the component of the horizontal direction and the surface of an object with regard to the object and a second phased array RF coil part which is formed in the horizontal direction and the surface of the object and generates the magnetic field of the component of the vertical direction and the surface of the object with the object. The imaging apparatus using the phased array RF coil module is a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus.
