A halogen-containing polycarbonate resin composition is provided to realize excellent color tone stability and transparency under ionizing radiation such as gamma rays, and to prevent yellowing in medical instruments subjected to radiation sterilization. A halogen-containing polycarbonate resin composition comprises a halogen-containing polycarbonate resin, a carboxylate and a phosphorus compound. The halogen-containing polycarbonate resin composition has a chromaticness index b of 3.50 or less in the Hunter's color difference formula in the Lab color coordinate system, after 2 days from the irradiation of gamma rays with 25 kGy in the absence of oxygen, and shows a variance in haze of 10% or less. |
