PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a truck for conveying a glass substrate, which is used for conveying the large-sized glass substrate housed in a glass substrate housing case while decreasing the amount of foreign matters to be stuck onto the large-sized glass substrate without damaging the large-sized glass substrate.SOLUTION: The truck for conveying the glass substrate is used for conveying the large-sized square glass substrate which is housed in the glass substrate housing case, the one side of which has 1,000 mm length, at the least, and the thickness of which exceeds 10 mm. The truck for conveying the glass substrate has: a frame body 13 which can be handled by a fork-shaped conveying means; a wheel part 14 arranged in the lower part of the frame body; and an impact mitigation mechanism 15 which is fixed to the glass substrate housing case to hold the case, can mitigate an impact to be generated on the glass substrate housing case and the square glass substrate when the glass substrate is conveyed, and comprises at least two kinds of elastic bodies having the spring constants different from each other. Such a metal spring is preferably used as at least one elastic body that the stroke amount of the glass substrate housing case becomes 20-30 mm when the impact of 2G is exerted thereon. |
